Introduction
The ABB RLM02 is a redundancy link module for PROFIBUS DP/FMS networks. It converts a non-redundant PROFIBUS line into two redundant RS485 lines or vice versa. This allows for the creation of a redundant PROFIBUS network, which can help to improve network reliability and uptime.

Converts a non-redundant PROFIBUS line into two redundant RS485 lines or vice versa
Supports transmission rates of 9.6 kbit/s to 12 Mbit/s
Serves up to 31 PROFIBUS clients
Errors are signaled via an LED on the front plate and a signaling contact
Can be positioned directly next to a master, in front of a bus segment with several slaves, or in front of an individual slave
