performance characteristics of unique products and applications.”
The revised test standards include:
1. AISI S901-13, Rotational-Lateral Stiffness Test Method for Beam-to-Panel Assemblies (revision of AISI S901-08) - This test standard is used primarily in determining the strength of beams connected to panels as part of a structural assembly.
2. AISI S902-13, Stub-Column Test Method for Effective Area of Cold-Formed Steel Columns (revision of AISI S902-08) - This test standard primarily considers the effects of local buckling and residual stresses and is applied to solid or perforated columns that have holes (or hole patterns) in the flat and/or curved elements of the cross-section.
