Introduction
ABB CI830 3BSE013252R1 is S800 I/O Communication module.The S800 I/O provides easy installation of the I/O modules and process cabling. It is highly modularized and flexible so that the I/O modules can be combined to suit many applications, including most types of signals, HART and Intrinsic Safety Interface. The S800 I/O modules and a Fieldbus Communication Interface (FCI) are combined to form an I/O Station. The S800 I/O can be used in both single and redundant applications. In general, all S800 units are G3 compliant. G3 compliant modules withstand more severe environmental conditions according to ISA-S71.04. The following S800 units are G2 compliant - SD821, SD822, SD823, SD831, SD832, SD833, SD834, SS822, SS832, TB811 and CI830. G3 compliant versions of SD822 and SS822 are also available (refer to SD822Z and SS822Z)
