The EPRO A6312/06 is a dual-channel speed and key monitor designed for the AMS 6500 machinery protection system. It safeguards critical rotating equipment by monitoring speed, direction, and shaft position. The module offers a variety of features to ensure reliable and accurate monitoring, including:
- Two independent speed channels for monitoring redundant speed sensors
- Key phaser input for synchronizing with external reference signals
- Shaft relative vibration monitoring for detecting imbalances, misalignments, and other mechanical faults
