The performance of the flowtube is identical in either direction. The flowtube can be installed in the reverse direction if it provides better access for the flowtube wiring. This parameter ensures that the Flow Direction configured in the transmitter matches the installation. It indicates the direction of positive flow whether flow is UniDirectional or BiDirectional. Specify the flow direction as shown in Table 14. You must make a BiDir selection if, and only if, you selected a BiDir flow mode in the Output section of Setup. Make one of the Positive selections if the forward flow direction agrees with the flow direction arrow on the tube. Make one of the Reverse selections if the forward flow direction is opposite from the flow arrow. The default setting is Positive.
