The IS200EROCH1A is a component for the GE Mark VI series.Part of the Speedtronic line, the MKVI is an advanced system for the management of heavy-duty gas or steam turbine systems of various size and complexity. The Speedtronic line has been used to manage turbine systems since the Mark I was developed and released in 1969. The Mark VI is the fifth of these systems to be commercially released and includes such features as a PC-based HMI or operator interface that runs on a Windows platform. This HMI uses specially-designed software like CIMPLICITY graphics for the management of turbine systems.
The IS200EROCH1A is designed as an Exciter Regulator Options Board/Card (EROC.) This board is designed to provide support for a terminal board power connection, for regulator options, and for third-party and GE ground detectors.The GE ground detector uses the EROC board to find leakage resistance to ground at any point in the generator field circuit. The IS200EROCH1A can provide transmission of data to two locations on the regulator rack and can communicate using a keypad attached with an RS-232 cable. A connector for the keypad is situated on the IS200EROCH1A faceplate. There is another keypad connector located on the board’s backplane.
