Description
The IS200EDEXG1A is a component created for the Mark VI series from GE. The Mark VI is designed as a complete integrated protection, control, and monitoring system for mechanical and generator drive applications of gas or steam turbines. The hardware and software of the Mark VI are designed in coordination with GE’s turbine design engineering to ensure optimal performance from a fully integrated platform. This includes the use of proprietary software like GE’s CIMPLICITY graphics and their Control System Toolbox, which can be accessed using the Windows-based PC operator interface designed into the Mark VI.
The IS200EDEXG1A is an Exciter De-exciter Card. This board provides de-excitation SCR firing and conduction sense feedback and is the primary board in the excitation module.Under normal conditions, it is controlled by the EXTB board. However, it can initiate de-excitation on its own if this control fails.
