TheGE Fanuc IC693MDL231 is a 240 volt AC Isolated Input module. Compatible with the Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controller, this input module has 8 isolated input points. Each point has a common power input terminal. There are many input devices that users can operate with this module because of its input characteristics.Such devices as pushbuttons, electronic proximity switches and limit switches may be operated once an external power source has been supplied by the user.Of course, as the IC693MDL231 is an AC module, it cannot use DC power.

Like many similar modules in the 90-30 range, this module has an LED block on the top. There isa single row of 8 LEDs, which represent the ON/OFF status of points 1 to 8.The door panel on the front of the IC693MDL231 module allows for an insert between the inner and outer surfaces. When the door is closed over, the outer surface of the insert can be used to record information on circuit identification. There is circuit wiring information on the inner surface.The edge of the insert is colored red, indicating that theIC693MDL231is a high-voltage module.Users can install the input module in a 5-slot or 10-slot baseplate of a Series 90-0 system, using any I/O slot.
