The GE Fanuc IC200CHS022 carrier module is an industrial carrier module that has been designed and manufactured as part of the GE Versamax series. The purpose of the Versamax IC200CHS022 carrier module is to provide the mounting mechanism, the backplane communications and connections, and all of the field wiring connections for the 1 compatible I/O module with up to 32 inputs or outputs and up to 4 power connections. It is easy to mount this carrier module on a DIN rail that measures 7.5 millimeters by 35 millimeters in dimensions, that is grounded for safety and protection against EMC, and that is resistant to corrosion. The IC200CHS022 carrier module is designed to be compact with dimensions of 66.8 millimeters x 70 millimeters x 163.5 millimeters. To allow the carrier module to have proper ventilation, it must be installed with 1 inch of horizontal spacing and 2 inches of vertical spacing around it for airflow.

The GE Fanuc Versamax IC200CHS022 carrier module can accommodate either 1 wire per terminal or 2 wires per terminal, depending on the application that it is used for. The single-wire cross section for the IC200CHS022 carrier module 0.36 square millimeters to 2.1 square millimeters while the maximum double-wire cross section for the module is 0.86 square millimeters. The wires should always be solid or stranded copper wires in both the single-wire and the double-wire setups. The IC200CHS022 carrier module has a total of 36 terminals which are all IEC box-style terminals. The ambient operating temperature range for the IC200CHS022 carrier module is from 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit.
