Description
The IC200PNS001 is a VersaMax PROFINET Scanner by GE that interfaces a remote node of VersaMax modules to a PROFINET I/O network.Functions of the IC200PNS001 include retrieving input data and delivering output data.
There are two versions of VersaMax PROFINET scanners that allow use of network media to meet user requirements. The IC200PNS001 is equipped with two shielded copper RJ-45 media connectors and can use one or two power supplies. The second power supply is optional, and power supplies can be mounted directly onto the module and latched into place. The IC200PNS001module’soperating temperature range is 0 to 60°C. The scanner is 5.2mm H x 5.28mm W.
TheIC200PNS001is equipped with LEDs to provide the user with vital status indications. There are two LES for the power supplies, which will emit green when a minimum level of power is being supplied. When ready for normal operations, the OK LED will be solid green and will flash or be off for all other module conditions. If the OK LED blinks amber, there is a failure in powering up or a terminal error in normal operation. The Connect LED will blink amber to indicate the scanner is not ready for use. There is no network when the IC200PNS001 powers up for the first time. Once the network has been named, the corresponding LED will turn off.
