Description
GE 90-30 Series PLC acts as a master for the Fanuc input/output link. The serial interface for the input/output link provides the input/output data exchange at a very high-speed between a master and the 16 slaves. The master receives 1024 discrete inputs from slaves and sends 1024 discrete outputs. GE Fanuc Automation Corporationis the manufacturer of this module. This module uses a configuration software or the hand-held programmer for 90-30 GE Seriesfor configuration.
Fanuc uses devices such as 90-70 Series PLCs, 90-30Series PLCs, operator panels and connection units for slaves. The user can place some of the master modules for input/output links on the GE 90-30 Series PLC. When multiple master modules for input/output link are within the same PLC system, the input/output links are usually separate. The user can place the master module for input/output link on any of the input/output slots on any baseplate.
