The upgraded truck not only retains its innovative essence but also focuses on new energy transition needs. On April 18, 2025, the ABB Electric Exhibition Truck officially launched in Fuzhou, marking the beginning of the 2025 national tour. The tour is expected to last 8 months, visiting over 60 cities across China. Through on-site visits, technical seminars, professional explanations, and operational demonstrations, ABB will bring its advanced products and solutions to customers and partners. The truck will comprehensively display ABB's innovative medium and low-voltage power distribution, service, and installation products and solutions, working with partners to open a new chapter in the electrified future.

Launch Ceremony in Fuzhou

Over 50 customers and partners attended the launch ceremony in Fuzhou. Attendees included Bei Zhen, Head of Market and Sales for ABB Electrical Smart Power Low Voltage Systems China; Chen Tan, Deputy General Manager of Fujian Provincial Architectural Design and Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Minshe Engineering Management Consulting Co., Ltd.; Zeng Biyang, Deputy General Manager of Fujian Zhonghe Development Architectural Design Institute Co., Ltd.; and Zheng Tuanlei, Senior Design Director for Data Center Industry at Fujian Post and Telecommunications Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd.

The national tour, themed "Smart Innovation for the Future, Industrial Excellence for Long-term Success," not only showcases ABB's recent innovations but also reflects its commitment and expectations for partners. ABB aims to collaborate with various stakeholders to explore the future development of industries such as power, industrial, data centers, and oil and petrochemicals.

These products and services enhance the reliability and operational efficiency of energy management and power distribution systems, simplify on-site construction, and help users achieve efficient operations.

In response to the urgent demand for green transformation in the Chinese market, ABB has integrated product carbon footprint management into its long-term development strategy, ensuring sustainability and circular principles are embedded throughout the entire lifecycle—from design and manufacturing to usage and recycling. Among the exhibits, ABB's medium and low-voltage switchgear systems stand out, having successfully obtained Type III Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). These systems support internationally recognized quantitative data and transparent assessments, enabling more accurate carbon accounting for customers and effectively reducing carbon tax costs.

Looking back to 2024, the ABB Electric Exhibition Truck started its journey in Fuzhou, touring 35 cities across China and attracting over 2,500 guests from the power sector, end-users, design institutes, and partners for exchanges and visits.
